Corbel targets lower middle market companies who desire a minority partner to help them scale or professionalize their businesses ahead of an ultimate exit event.

Corbel Strategy


• Execute minority investments into profitable, well-positioned, lower middle market businesses

• Offer flexible deal structures to allow for a tailored solution to fit needs such as recapitalizations, growth capital, acquisition financing and buyout of minority shareholders

• Representative operational support initiatives include, but are not limited to, operational analytics, sales force implementation, systems scoping and implementation, restructuring, real estate consolidation, financial controls design and implementation, M&A support and personnel recruitment

Investment Criteria


Investments of $5-15 million in companies meeting these criteria:

• EBITDA of $2-8 million

• Entreprenuer or family-owned businesses and non-core divisions, desiring our highly active partnership

• Profitable, stable and growing businesses with strong industry positions

• Identifiable growth and value creation potential

• Typical investment structures include, but are not limited to: debt plus warrants, convertible debt, and convertible preferred equity

Target Industries


Investments in a wide variety of industries including:

• Consumer products and retail

• Specialty manufacturing

• Business services (especially those that are asset-intensive, have a defensible niche or have significant contractrually recurring revenue)

• Consumer services

• Other sectors selectively

Based in Temecula, California, SMS provides supply chain oversight, management and support under multi-year fixed price contracts to large Aerospace and Defense ("A&D") OEMS (Original Equipment Manufacturers). The Company, on behalf of its OEM clients, interfaces directly with the supplier bases to improve their on-time delivery performance of critical parts and close out open orders in an efficient and cost effective manner.

Corbett Enterprises
Based in Salem, New Jersey, CAC is a State of New Jersey licensed sand and aggregates mining and material supply company. The Company, with significant sand reserves at its Quinton mine, supplies sand for construction in the NYC and Philadelphia Metropolitan Areas.

Cosmetic Design Group
Headquartered in Culver City, California, CDG offers a diverse range of nail and cosmetic products, specializing in full turnkey solutions and providing a one-stop design and sourcing service for national brands and its retail customers.

Headquartered in Redondo Beach, California, Jariet is a fabless semiconductor company focused on digital microwave integrated circuits and modules, microwave and millimeter-wave transceivers, and high speed data converters, for next generation wireless infrastructure and aerospace and defense applications.

CAC is a State of New Jersey licensed sand and aggregates mining and material supply company with significant sand reserves at its Quinton, New Jersey sand mine. Proceeds from Corbel's investment will be used to lease, refurbish and equip a marine terminal in North Short, Staten Island, New York to realize significant cost savings and improve the efficiency of CAC's marine transport operations.

Corbel Structured Equity Partners (“Corbel”) closed its structured investment (the “Transaction”) into Corbett Aggregates Companies, LLC ("CAC" or the “Company”) in the form of a senior secured participating loan. CAC is a State of New Jersey licensed sand and aggregates mining and material supply company with significant sand reserves at its Quinton, New Jersey sand mine. Proceeds from Corbel’s investment will be used in part to purchase a certified marine barge and upgrade related capabilities, which will allow the Company to achieve the significant cost efficiencies associated with marine transportation of sand versus traditional trucking. Operational support will be available to the Company from Corridor Capital in the form of financial planning and accounting assistance as the Company further institutionalizes its finance department.
